in the early 1980s a mix-up and miscommunication lead the Pac-Man ghost Character 'Speedy' (Pinky)..to oringinally think by the silly Americans that the ghost was a boy.. the character was actually,originally female..in more recent media, Namco reverted the character back to her 'lady-like' roots..hence the "sex-change"..
