'..jr.'s Great Panel Escape'

The old 'ARCADE AMUSEMENTS' ("the West’s oldest amusement arcade..") in Manitou Springs,Colorado has been a cornerstone of childhood and the whole town of Manitou is pretty much the last place i can relax and be myself around the Southern Colorado area. I grew up with the arcade which is a work of art within itself as well as a history of arcade games ranging thru' most of the 20th century.. the 1920s-1990s and beyond. With that..it also serves as an interactive museum!! Not to oddly enough..i am home there..

One lonely night in late August of 2004 .. i snapped some odd pix here and there around the arcade..

here is the corner of the Control panel to Manitou Spring's arcade cabinet of 'Donkey Kong Jr. ' ..Juniour has seen many happy years of kids ploppin' quarters in him.. ..he is runnin' away wit' his pappa ..cuz he got the key to realease Donkey Kong the First !!
Mario is angry as f7ck tossin ' more looney birds and snap jaws at the poor simians.. Monkey Shine, Mario!!

..so damm cute.. i still wanna Call PETA on Mario for abusing the gorrillas.. i know i should jsut let these things go..Mario is so fat and wealthy anymore.. but there was some bad and evil things he did.. and kidnapping D.K. was something i am still a little biiter about.. maybe at the end of 'Mario Vs. D.K. ' ..when Mario hands Donkey Kong a new little Mario Toy..maybe they made some emmense .. i dunno..

..Simians teh roXX and if Mario does it again.. i'm gonna call S.Weaver of the Gorillas in the Mist.. n' oo boy howdey is he gonna pay big timE !!
